Power Tools

As a distinctive feature, MobiTouch now offers to the power user a set of tools which greatly improve the control over the architecture. The Power Tools are offered as a separate package and are dedicated to those user who want to squeeze out the last bit of performance from their installations and are prepared to deal with the low-level aspects of the communication system.

The package includes three products: Application Planner, Advanced Monitor, WLP configurator.

Application Planner

Application Planner is an Excel spreadsheet that help you configure your campaign in terms of coverage, number of WLPs needed, ecc... All this is based on some expected performance results (Latency, Transmission time, ecc...).

Application Planner is a great tool for rough capacity planning when you have to cover large areas and need to have very quick responses even with a big crowd.

Mobitouch monitor

Mobitouch monitor is a Java application that can be installed on your mobile phone and let you to browse the internals of a WLP while a campaign is on-going. Mobitouch monitor can be used to get, in real time, information and statistics about the current campaign, and to detect possibile problems or misconfiguration errors.

WLP Configurator

Access the low-level internals of the WLPs. Set parameters related to Bluetooth transmission system (Timeouts, duty cycle times of the Inquiry process, RSSI thresholds) and to application logic (change schedulign algorithm). With this tool you can do the optimal configuration for your campaign.
